Hello, all,

I was working on a fantasy campaign, based loosely on
the concepts of D&D. Having recently received a copy
of powers, I began to wonder whether it might not be
more interesting to model "priest spells" as powers
and abilities, thus leaving the realm of spells as
"skills". The rationale here being, that the chance of
success of a priest 'spell' to work is not based on
skill, but on his standing with his deity, and said
deity's desire to grant his priest's prayers.

Has anyone tried doing this before? Any comments on
how it went for them? Any pitfalls that one might want
to watch out for?
