I have been thinking of doing all spells with powers.

There was couple articles about this in the Pyramid some time ago. I
don't recall those correctly, but they proposed that you would have a
a common set of modifiers for all abilities. First was a Spell
modifier, that was basically just Magic, requires gestures, and
requires magic words, for a total of -30% or so.

The second was a descriptive of the skill level of the caster in the
spell, with words like beginner, novice, journeyman, adept, master,
etc. Each included a set of modifiers for the spells, from Costs
Fatigue and Extra Time to Reliable and No Signature, depending on the
level you had.

I might have different powergroups for different areas of sorceries
(like, necromancy, elementalism, etc), or then just One Power, maybe
with a bit more expensive Talent (say, 10 points per level... oh, it
does exist... and it's called Magery... what a coincidence...)

So, you could have Divine Spell with, Divine Power -10%, Requires
Divine Focus -10% and maybe something else there.

Oh yeah... all spells should be done OUTSIDE game sessions.
