Hi all,
I'm having a discussion on the forums about spider silk
http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?t=26561
A few points I'm still trying to clarify are...
since you can fire as many strands as you have arms in one casting, and
the spider demon example in the book says it can fire them all at once,
the question is...
1. was that a bad example, and can a normal person only actually fire
one at a time without some special advantage such as altered time rate etc.
2. firing all at once, or firing one a turn, the second question is
still the same, do you have a off hand penalty for shooting the second
strand, which is probably in your off-hand, or is the innate attack like
a punch, the right is as good as the left.
This does also raise a third question which I wasn't expecting,
3. when you punch with your off-hand, do you have a off-hand attack
penalty, or doesn't it suffer this as it is a natural attack (and if so,
isn't innate attack a natural attack?)
Question 1 & 2 are new to me as I have never played a character with
spider silk,
Question 3 is a little of a curiosity, as I have always assumed that
punching with your left was as good as your right, and I have never had
a character who has needed to fire a missile off-hand, until I got this
spell which can give you one for each hand for one casting.
heheh, suggestions/thoughts?

ps. sorry for posting to forum AND list, but wasn't making much progress
in forum. I generally get well though out answers from this list but it
means I need access to my mail, not just a browser to post.
