Quest - need not be King/Prince directed, could be religious and
personnel or from your Order Master/Leader/Elder/etc. Or be a
personnel quest.

Running from the Law
Parents Kicked you out
Following someone
Recruited and need not be by your choice aka impressed into
service or slavery
Rescue
Escape - from above slavery, or from capture?
Many found the military to be a way out of their social
standings, so much can be placed around a military career and
events during it.

Social class, what is your PCs social class and profession?

Social times, open or closed, such as you pick your profession
or your part of a Caste or like system, or worse your family is
slaves?

Special gifts you and friends have? Such as do you have a lmack
for magic, for a super-soldier?

Trying to impress someone, parents or that special someone who
may or may not care if you life or die.

Rescue and reward, the old rescue the princess and win her hand

Last week I did an interweb search for random adventure seeds &
found 3 good ones for D&D/fantasy. Can't seem to find the
bookmarks now. Oh well, I'm home & sick, battling with my
wireless intwerweb connection, so if I get booted off again,
I'll just take an hour off & sort through the bookmarks
off-line. That is, if I can tell if they're SF, Traveller, AD&D
or Classic D&D related...
(sigh...)

I also need to type up the adventure seeds that I wrote up in
the last few weeks while at work.

One is interesting, as it calls for scientist character types
more so than military gun-totin' character types. I wrote it up
for Traveller, but it would work well for SF too; The PCs are
hired to babysit & transport a domed agri-ship en route to
another system. Pilots are also required, but the bulk of the
adventure(s) take place in the agri-ship as the PCs attempt to
ensure a smooth transit with the equipment, plants & animals
aboard.

Other side scenarios include uncovering a stowaway government
sabatuer (out to cause damage to the gov't of the system the
agri-ship is travelling to, not to this ship itself), any random
mis-jumps that take the ship to somewhere other than it's
supposed destination; and this may include encounters with other
ships, be they suspicious local law enforcement, Imperial
cruisers, stranded merchants/colonization ships, cruise liners,
pirates or "the" alien menace central to the game. (Sather for
SF, Zhodani for Traveller).

Will comment on Jurgen's links if I can get it to work...
Experiencing technical difficulties,

Interesting concept, any comments anyone? Any way to make them
more specific to a genre or like, such as Middle Earth or Sci-Fi
or Horror?
