I'd argue that the logistical value of a turbo-diesel outweighs the tactical
value of a gas turbine.
I'll take performance if it will keep me, my crew, and my track alive
and mission capable. As for logistical issues...in the almost 30 years
since the M1 entered inventory we really haven't and them despite
several major ground conflicts in difficult locations.
