This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Large Interstellar Yacht, Vehicles Version v1.0 (TL11)
  Copyright 2010 by Onno Meyer

This starship has comfortable quarters for up to four passengers, and
a higher speed than most commercial starliners.
The 60' yacht has a two-seat cockpit in the nose, a saloon with large
panorama windows, and two cabins for the owner and guests. The sublight
thrusters and the fusion power plant are mounted in the rear, and four
hyperdrive units are evenly spaced on the keel. The Interstellar Yacht
has little cargo capacity, but there are ample pantry lockers.
It takes 5.9 hours to recharge the power cells for a hyperspace entry.

Subassemblies: Body +6.
Powertrain: Four 300,000-lb. vectored super reactionless thrusters; four
  250-ton hyperdrives; 15-kW RTG; 90,000-kW fusion reactor;

Design Notes
Body is 10,000 cf, with underbelly skids, lifting body and very good
streamlining. Structure is medium, standard. Armor is standard
composite. Sealed. Computerized controls. 227.1 cf of empty space. Empty
weight is 192,000 lbs.
The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third
printing, December '09 errata], VXi and VXii (including the armor volume
rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
