Starship Medical Robot Mk.VIII v1.0 (TL15)

  The Medical Robot assists the crew of an interstellar or intergalactic 
ship during emergencies or routine sickbay care. The robot is capable of 
some learning, but genuinely new situations call for sentient crew. 
  The Mk.VIII is shaped like an upright egg, with four flexible arms at 
90° intervals around the body. Two of these arms have micromanipulators, 
and all have surgical instruments and sensors. The robot can project a 
force screen stretcher, and an emergency support unit will sustain the 
patient until he or she can be put into a proper automed.
  Many structural and motive components are interchangeable with other 
models of the Mk.VIII series.
  The reserve power cell lasts for 285 minutes at full thrust.

Powertrain: Four 250-lb. vectored super reactionless thrusters; two 
  10,000-lb. contragrav generators; 500-kW total conversion reactor; 
  1,620,000-kWs rechargeable power cell.

Design Notes
  Body is 9.6 cf. Arms are 0.6 cf each. Structure is extra-heavy, 
standard, robotic. Armor is standard metal. Self-sealing. 0.02 cf of 
empty space. Empty weight is 1,000 lbs. 
  The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third 
printing, December '09 errata], Robots and VXii (including the armor 
volume rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
