This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Surface Base Module, Vehicles Version v1.0 (TL15)
  Copyright 2011 by Onno Meyer

The Surface Base Module is carried by interstellar or intergalactic
ships for temporary basecamps on hostile planets. The Base Module has
quarters for five to ten explorers, with life support and an advanced
sensor suite.
The Base Module has a central corridor from the operations center to
the airlock, with small rooms on the sides. These compartments are the
individual cabins, a bathroom, a kitchen and dining area, a laboratory,
a sickbay with automeds, and several storage rooms. In addition to the
airlock, there are three pressure hatches to connect to other modules.
Power plants and life support are mounted under the floor boards.
The Base Module can be used in high pressure, corrosive atmospheres,
vacuum, low gravity, or zero gravity. It could float, but the airlock
hatches are in the wrong position for water use.

Surface Base Module, Spaceships Version v1.0 (TL12)
Design 2011 by Kenneth Peters, color text 2011 by Onno Meyer

The Surface Base Module is carried by interstellar or intergalactic
ships for temporary basecamps on hostile planets. The Base Module has
quarters for six to twelve explorers, with life support and an advanced
sensor suite.
The Base Module has a central corridor from the operations center to
the airlock, with small rooms on the sides. These compartments are the
individual cabins, a bathroom, a kitchen and dining area, a laboratory,
a sickbay with an automed, and several storage rooms. In addition to the
airlock, there are three pressure hatches to connect to other modules.
Energy systems and life support are mounted under the floor boards.
The Base Module can be used in high pressure, corrosive atmospheres,
vacuum, low gravity, or zero gravity. It could float, but the airlock
hatches are in the wrong position for water use.
It has a unstreamlined 100-ton (SM +6) hull about 30 feet long.

Systems Table

Front Hull System
[1-2] Metallic Laminate Armor (total dDR 10).
[3] Multipurpose Array (comm/sensor 9).
[4-6] Habitats (one cabin each).
[core] Habitat (one briefing room).

Central Hull System
[1-2] Metallic Laminate Armor (total dDR 10).
