This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Raider Command Ship v1.0 (TL11)
  Copyright 2011 by Onno Meyer

A traditional Evil Overlord will have vast legions of warriors, so it
makes sense to economize on their starships. The Raider Command Ship is
used to coordinate squadrons of Assault Ships, and also for air combat.
The Raider Command Ship has a crew of four, and room for six staff or
perhaps passengers. She is armed with a few missiles, one fixed gatling
blaster, and two flexible gatlings on the sides. The Command Ship has a
spartan cabin -- obviously the Evil Overlord himself would have a much
better ship -- but she can operate for days or weeks, over a radius of
several dozen parsecs.
It takes 28 seconds to recharge a shot of the 3.2-MJ gatling, or 5.5
seconds to recharge a shot of a 640-kJ gatling.

Subassemblies: Body +6, six retractable Wheels +2.
Powertrain: Two 80,000-lb. vectored super reactionless thrusters; 80-WTF
warp drive; 10-kW RTG; 10,000-kW fusion reactor; 4,500,000-kWs
  rechargeable power cell.

Cheaply made. Body is 4,000 cf, with superior streamlining. Wheels are

expensive laminate. Sealed. Computerized controls with duplicate
maneuver controls. 284.3 cf of empty space. Empty weight is 36,000 lbs.

Next Week: And now one for the extras without a speaking part -- or the
heroes in disguise ...
