So the reverse would be some sort of weapon that fires rounds or mines, that
disrupt local hyper space?

Disruptors are born?

you mean a form of Reality Stabilizer? (VE72)

Perhaps a limit for Hyperdrives could be to multiply the power consumptions by the SM.

Thinking of the blink/dodging to hypserspace, the GURPS costs must be prohibitive, perhaps not needing my house rule above (see VE39).

For example, take a 10,000-ton (ston) ship, requiring
3,600,000,000 kWs of energy to enter hyperspace, and 100,000kW to stay there.

A TL10 fusion reactor to barely maintain (not counting life support, etc) it will will mass about 11 tons. It will take 10 hours to charge for one hyperjump.
~100 tons for ~1h (1% of ship mass),
~6,000 tons for ~1min (60% of ship mass)
~36,000 tons for ~1 second (3,600% of ship mass)

At TL10, the drive masses 1% of the vehicle capacity, at about 100 tons, and a TL10 rechargeable cell for just the entry to hyperspace (VE88), 100 tons, 360,000,000,000$. That's 1% of the mass of the ship to enter hyperspace once.

Other canon hyper-tech includes the Hypersink from VXi26, and the hypergate (VXi16).

The hypergate could make for a useful torpedo launcher -- install it at the end of a launch tube. The torpedoes only need to power the "maintenance" power of hyper-costs.
