Bioship Destroyer Escort v1.0 (TL14)

  At roughly 100,000 tons, this Bioship is large enough for independent 
interstellar deployments. The Destroyer Escort is used in an economy of 
force role, where a fleet destroyer two or three times her size is not 
required.
  The bioship is roughly 200 yards long. Almost half of her length are 
antenna clusters in front and thruster vanes in the rear, while most of 
her mass is concentrated in a lumpy egg 300' by 250' by 100'.
  The faster than light communicator has a range of one parsec, and her 
spinal fusion gun can penetrate 8 feet of modern laminates or 300 feet 
of steel armor. The payload section contains thirty cabins, a spacedock 
for 3,000 tons of subcraft, cargo holds, and a small scientific and 
medical section.

  The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third 
printing, December '09 errata], Robots, VXi (including the structural 
volume rule) and VXii (including the armor volume rule) with the text 
format from Vehicles Lite. The GM should probably set a FTL factor well 
over 0.2, perhaps in the five figures for intergalactic flights.
