This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Delgado VacCruiser Wheeled ATV v1.0 (GURPS Traveller TL6)
  Copyright 2011 by Onno Meyer

The Delgado VacCruiser is an affordable all-terrain vehicle for moons
and vacuum worlds. The ATV can transport up to ten humans and four tons
of cargo.
The cylindrical hull of the All-Terrain Vehicle is riding on six wire
mesh wheels, with independent electric motors in each hub. The front is
the cab with two seats, followed by the passenger cabin, the cargo hold,
and an airlock in the rear. A short ladder leads down to the ground.
On a starport tarmac, the ATV can reach 10 mph. On a typical moon, it
might do 10 to 15 mph offroads. The batteries last for 24 hours at full
speed.

The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third
printing, December '09 errata], VXi and VXii (including the armor volume
and massive motive subassembly rules) with the text format from Vehicles
Lite. The Traveller rules affect the background and design choices, but
not the technology of this vehicle.
