Dragon Republic Type 12 Light Strike Dropship v1.0 (TL9)

  When small starships operate without carrier support, they often swap 
a few of their utility craft for Strike Dropships like the Type 12. The 
orbit to surface craft has only limited loiter time, but the delta-V is 
sufficient for global range.
  The Type 12 has a slim fuselage with a tandem cockpit for a pilot and 
a gunner. She is armed with a chin-mounted plasma gun and a missile bay 
for one ton of ordnance. Stealth and ECM are only marginally effective 
for a spacecraft powered by fusion rockets, so the Strike Dropships in 
the first wave will carry ARMs to degrade the enemy aerospace defenses
and communication networks.
  The fusion rockets use 2,000 gallons of reaction mass per hour. It 
takes 525 seconds to recharge a plasma shot.

Subassemblies: Body +4, two Wings +2, six retractable Wheels +0. 
Powertrain: Two vectored 50,000-lb. fusion rockets; 40-kW super MHD 
  fusion reactor; twenty 270,000-kWs rechargeable power cells.

  Body is 900 cf, with superior streamlining. Wings are 50 cf. Wheels 
are 45 cf, retract into body. Structure is medium, advanced. Improved

self-sealing tanks. Computerized controls with duplicate maneuver 
controls. 4.45 cf of empty space. Empty weight is 24,000 lbs.
