Hello Travis, OGRE is not exactly designed for technical realism. OGRE is about big cybertanks and the like slugging it out. That being said, you don't need a full G thrust to keep airborne. The stall speed gets higher without vectored thrust, but there is plenty of power for the drag because of square-cube. Smart bombs won't work because OGRE assumes very good stealth and EW. You can smartbomb a grid coordinate, but not a vehicle.
