The Goa'uld from Stargate were effectively super villains.
Quite a lot was technology, not super powers, but they act
like villains -- squabbling and grudging cooperation, lots
and lots of disposable henchmen, etc.

Can the Goa'uld reach Earth or will the player characters
reach them only on other worlds?

- Covert Goa'uld invasion on Earth. A few of these aliens
come and try to recruit henchmen on Earth. They can
offer their followers health and long life. The
drawbacks? Just a little loss of personality.

- Overt Goa'uld invasion on Earth. Pyramid ships appear in
  orbit, land in Egypt.

- Coming across an established Goa'uld base on another
planet. Will the player characters liberate the slaves?

- Meeting engagement: Who will win the hearts and minds of
a newly discovered species, the heroes from Earth or the
  Goa'uld?

Or stargates without the Stargate villains. The perfect
excuse to get the players to another planet without the
assets of a full-scale starship. Just what they carry on
their backs and in their bat utility belts.

Regards,
Onno
