This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Deep Space Supply Craft v1.0 (TL9)
  Copyright 2013 by Onno Meyer

This spacecraft was designed for a setting where interplanetary travel
is starting to become routine. The Deep Space Supply Craft could deliver
critical spare parts or specialized scientific instruments to an outpost
in the outer system.
The DSSC is a short cylinder with the fusion engine and reaction mass
tanks in the rear and the cargo bay in front. The clamshell hatches can
only be opened from outside –- there must be people at both ends of the
voyage.
A timely DSSC could be a deus ex machina to save adventurers in space,
or it could become the McGuffin everybody is looking for, especially if
it went off course. In theory, the Deep Space Supply Craft could carry
two passengers in cryosleep capsules, but that would violate all sorts
of safety regulations.
The fusion rocket uses 20 gallons of reaction mass per hour.
