This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Solar Tug v1.0 (TL9)
  Copyright 2013 by Onno Meyer

This spacecraft was designed for a setting where interplanetary travel
is starting to become routine. The solar sail is a slow way to travel in
the outer system, where the light pressure drops with the square of the
distance, but it requires no reaction mass on long flights.
The Solar Tug consists of the sail mechanism with the shroud controls,
an instrument package, and a cargo grapple. The payload is towed behind
the spacecraft, either in containers or directly in the grapple.
Solar tugs are often used to haul metals and other raw materials from
asteroid mines and refineries to Earth, and supplies back to the belt.
