Say you have battlesuits in the reasonably near future, twenty years from now, or perhaps in the cyberpunk future-that-wasn't.
I have 13 lbs. and 0.26 cf for sensors in the helmet. My current thoughts are a 2-mile PESA, a 5-mile laser rangefinder, and a 5-level surveillance sound detector. I could swap the rangefinder for an 1-mile AESA. Is that little range/power worthwhile? And a 2-mile PESA or a 4-mile thermograph or a x8 LLTV? I have about 140 lbs. for cloaking on a 70 sf suit. That could be either basic emission cloaking (-4) or modest emission cloaking, stealth, and sound baffling (-2 each) plus basic chameleon (-1/-3). Basic chameleon isn't all that much better than proper camo. The main threat are probably thermal/hyperspectral sensors and the naked eye, but does that mean radar is not important?
