So we have several types of "battle suits"
yes much like they have in battle tech or other like games, but they are
smaller and one person in size for the most part, yes?
One the Ninja or like name is build for speed and detection and not being
detected, mission essential things. Its is not designed to last long in a
fire fight but its fast enough to get in, do a recon, cause fast chaos and
get out quickly, or just strike special targets and spread terror and more?
Old adage is nothing is more effective than to be out a 1000+ meters and
take some general/leaders head off in front of his/her whole command.. We
can strike and take you out at our leisure! Now the problems is to get out
alive from the hornets nest!?
While another Battel Suit is a brute, and is designed for hard hitting, alot
of armor and weapons and need not be too fast?
Some migh be jump capable, much like the ones in Star Ship Troopers (SST the
book not the movies).
So what is your ideas on what they might be broken down to? Not like the
MTOE or like but also design and function and what else?
Speed
Detection
Stealth
Camoflage or ability to blend in?
Weapons and type.
Jump/Flight or Grunt?
What else?
All I expect can take a normal round at least once from a normal soldier of
today? But what about other sorts of weapons? Kenetic or Ablative or what?
Ease of usage and also modules so that you can use the same basic armorbut
for various weapons, and detection and like equipment and more, but also for
upgrading?
Security for sure, opps your not the authorized user and BOOM?
Now the fun, how to use them for Role Play gaming and what about Wargaming?

* Can mount a larger weapon (autocannon and ATGM) than
any reasonably-sized (and priced) battlesuit
Battlesuits have several advantages over APCs:
* Better able to use terrain for concealment
* Better suited for fighting in cities and built-up
areas
* One hit from a conventional weapon will not kill an
entire squad
* Can carry a variety of light autocannons and light
ATGMs (ie, quantity of firepower making up for quality
of firepower)
Of course, a lot of this depends on the game system
and time period. I've really only looked at this at
TL8 for GURPS.
