Boarding Shuttle v1.0 (TL12)

  This fast sublight craft carries boarding teams to incoming starships 
and suspicious insystem traffic. The Boarding Shuttle has powerful quad 
thrusters and a tractor beam to capture her prey.
  The forward section contains the troop bay and the docking hatch with 
a pressure-tight forcefield. Two plasma torches are mounted just inside 
the hatch to cut through airlocks or bulkheads. The flight deck for the 
pilot and the copilot is in the center, entirely reliant on sensors for 
vision, and engineering spaces take the rear. 
  The Boarding Shuttle is armed with a small blaster cannon. It takes 
four seconds to recharge one shot.

Powertrain: Four 120,000-lb. super reactionless thrusters; two 
  120,000-lb. contragrav generators; 40,000-kW fusion reactor;
  5,400,000-kWs rechargeable power cell.

Design Notes
  Body is 3,000 cf, with very good streamlining, underbelly skids, 
lifting body, and total compartmentalization. Structure is extra-heavy, 
advanced. Armor is advanced laminate. Sealed. Computerized controls with 
duplicate maneuver controls. 534.93 cf of empty space. Empty weight is 
57,600 lbs.

  The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third 
printing, July 2010 errata], VXi, and VXii (including the armor volume 
rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
