This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Assault Lifter v1.0 (TL10)
  Copyright 2014 by Onno Meyer

The Assault Lifter is used on earthlike planets to deploy battlesuits
into action. The ducted fan VTOL cannot take much direct fire, but that
is what the suits are for -- the Assault Lifter takes them most of the
way.
The Lifter has a streamlined airframe with two large-diameter fans in
swivel mounts. The cockpit contains tandem seats for the gunner and the
pilot and a tiny cubicle for the load master. The Assault Lifter can
carry fifteen Mk.III battlesuits or twelve Mk.III and two of the heavy
support suits, so balancing the payload is a critical job.
A full load of ammunition is $12,500.

Subassemblies: Body +5, four retractable Skids +1, two Pods +2,
  limited-rotation turret -1.
Powertrain: Two 12,000-kW vectored ducted fans, 25,000-kW fusion
  reactor; 1,800,000-kWs rechargeable power cell.
Occ: 3 RCS. Cargo: 14.5 cf.
