Minimum takeoff run 110 yards, landing 276. Which is frankly tiny. But that means subjecting the passengers to a 2.3-gravity acceleration on takeoff; drop it to a tough but more reasonable half-gravity, and takeoff is more like 524 yards. (Airliners use around 0.2G as far as I can see from a quick search, and there we'd be looking at 1290-ish yards. That's not unreasonable; 105yard/s is 187 knots, which is horribly high for a stall speed, and landings will be No Fun.) _______________________________________________ GurpsNet-L mailing list <[email protected]> http://mail.sjgames.com/mailman/listinfo/gurpsnet-l
