Minimum takeoff run 110 yards, landing 276. Which is frankly tiny. But
that means subjecting the passengers to a 2.3-gravity acceleration on
takeoff; drop it to a tough but more reasonable half-gravity, and
takeoff is more like 524 yards. (Airliners use around 0.2G as far as I
can see from a quick search, and there we'd be looking at 1290-ish
yards. That's not unreasonable; 105yard/s is 187 knots, which is
horribly high for a stall speed, and landings will be No Fun.)

That's just the minimum, emergency, distance.

Used in Action! campaigns, I can see the VIPs having some "got to take off NOW!" situations... (either people with guns after them, monsters, or some kind of ID4 scenario...)
