Plywood Grav Sled v1.0 (GURPS Traveller TL6-10) Copyright 2014 by Onno Meyer Take a second or third hand grav unit, a primitive internal combustion engine, and a bit of plywood, and you get this grav sled. The open flyer has two seats for a pilot and a passenger, a small cargo compartment in the nose, and a pusher prop. No two Plywood Grav Sleds are ever exactly alike, but most planets develop a distinctive style. At 40 mph, the engine burns 1 gallon of aviation gas per hour. A full tank is $4. Structure is TL6, extra-light, expensive. Body armor is TL6, expensive wood, skid armor is TL6, standard metal. TL6 mechanical controls. 1.74 cf of empty space. Empty weight is 380.5 lbs. The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third printing, July 2010 errata], VXii (the armor volume rule), and Traveller with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
