You have a nice new starship.

She's a courier, a fast messenger meant to get people and things to places directly.

She's got all the standard equipment you'd need to run a ship of that type in normal operation

What is that normal equipment?

What do you add to the equipment lockers of this ship?

I'm guessing a near-future TL here because if you've got neural interfacing, replicators or really fast FTL, it gets too difficult to guess.

Normal stuff is the same for all ships. Engines, FTL engines, hull, sensors, power, life support, communicators, computers. Crew space. Emergency gear including a suit and emergency oxygen, water and food. I doubt a small ship has a lifeboat but if size allows, a backup emergency FTL communicator would be nice, to call for rescue while hanging out in your suit with emergency air. A one-person galley and food. That might be just a microwave and small sink. Unless there's a replicator. Some medical gear. In a small ship probably a first aid kit unless a small auto-doc is available. Some spare clothes. A place to wash clothes, unless the ship has a fabber/replicator and recycler. The washer might do double duty for clothes and dishes.

I would add a small area that is hidden from sensors. Even though I'm a perfectly respectable law abiding courier, I might have something to hide from pirates, customs inspectors or police from time to time.

Another extra feature, if couriers don't already have it, is a secure data vault. Two level encrypted storage. First level unlocks to the government override keys. Second level has the real data. And it self-destructs if the wrong people try to read it or tamper with it. That is something customers will pay extra for.
