But using a train is problematic. It does not seem as if the trip around
the globe was to avoid the winter in each hemisphere, and tracks would
be savaged by the weather. The more compact shape of my MEB makes the
cinematic voyage from the rear of the train to the front impossible, of
course, so maybe the movie really needed to use a train.
Note that there is zero margin for error in the life support and little
of my usual redundancy.
Last but not least, it is for an alien planet rather than a
post-apocalyptic Earth.
