Some newer computes with built in card readers may offer to fix corrupt cards as soon as you put the card into the computer. I've had this happen to me a few times on occasion when I was unable to delete a book, and then put the card in the compute and got that message about the computer fixing the corrupt parts of the card. The card has worked every time after the fixes were complete.
