I may have a battery issue as well.  I've looked in the manual and it 
doesn't say what should be spoken on a fully charged battery.  I just got 
my book-sense standard yesterday and am still learning it.  I've had mine 
plugged in all night and when I go to system status it says battery level 
5, doesn't say it is on ac or anything.  Also, my firmware says August 6 
build, so wasn't sure if the one on your page was a later build or not.
