Just fyi, you can use a program like CDex together with the lame mp3 encoder and burn CDs to mp3 or a variety of formats such as flac, wma, and ogg. And best of all, it's totally free.

Yup, they play just fine. Since I don't want to pay the $20 for Winamp
Pro, I can't rip files to MP3 format in my free copy of Winamp. The
default is AAC 128kbps and they sound better than an equivalent MP3
format of the same size. Winamp calls them M4A files, but the actual
encoding is AAC and I've played them on the Book Sense.

Has any of you tried to play AAC files on the BookSense? Thanks.
