Hello chip. many of the issues you mention here are either already marked down, or we cannot reproduce them. I'll be sending one email later which answers many of the topics which have been discussed of late. One thing to remember is that the BookSense is still relatively new and so will have some bugs and annoyances which HIMS was not able to address right away.

Many thanks.

Hi Rick and all,

I bought my booksense about a week ago, and tonight's my first time on the
list.

I'm afraid I can duplicate your issue Rick with the losing of place in audio
books.

I'm afraid in one week I've already got a lengthy list of problems: my most
severe: the BS locks up on me fairly often. sometimes the keys just beep,
and sometimes it's completely unresponsive.

in either case it's the toothpick to the brain to get it going again.

it often happens when trying to get bluetooth to work, which often gives me
trouble in some way. the bluetooth is by far the most frustrating feature
(and I'm using beta 1.1 software, which I was told improved bluetooth).

I have a suggestion for the radio: the one in my car also has a numeric
keypad. it allows you to jump directly to a frequency you enter on the
keypad by pressing some special key first (I think the star). I'd like to
see this in the radio, as 6 presets aren't much, and it's other navigation
is slow.

oh, when I'm using bluetooth in bed at night, and I go to shut the unit off,
it plays it's logo sound, quite loudly, through the speakers, thus waking up
my wife. there seems to be no way to prevent this, so I'd like to suggest
that if headphones are in use, shutdown sends all sound through them. Also,
my wife is sighted, and complains of a flashing blue LED on the headphones
which also keeps her awake. Together, the bluetooth is not a recommended
option for those having a partner.

thanks.

Subject: [GW-Booksense] bug report

Hi,

While listening to an Audible title, Dan Brown's The lost symbol in enhanced
format the booksense forgot where I left off on 3 different occasions while
listening.

Thanks,

Rick Harmon
