Thank you Raul.

Please note however, in your email where you addressed "many of these
issues", nothing was said about the frequent lockups I mentioned, nor the
numerous bluetooth problems.

while your response of noting how new it is I'm sure will eventually prove
correct, and the locking up problem is likely to be fixable in software, I
am concerned about the bluetooth issues, especially since you didn't address
them. I'd like to hear that you guys feel that they too are fixable in
software.

just to be clear: my BS frequently loses it's pairing with the sony
headphones, and I have to go through the entire pairing again. there are
frequent interuptions in the signal, especially bad with music.

the sound quality, again especially with music, I find to be very poor with
the sony headset. just to be sure this was the problem, I used a Dell
bluetooth headset, and found the quality to be much improved, although not
nearly as good as using the pc as the bluetooth source.

A lot of the "lockups" where the BS just beeps when you press a key, or is
completely unresponsive, happen when attempting to pair the bluetooth
headset.

Many of the controls on the headset are non-functional with the BS; these
are the ones which, on my pc, move you between tracks, pause the playback,
etc.

and finally, there's the issue of the bluetooth not working with the radio.
I find it silly at best, and just plain unbelievable, that the BS was
advertised as having a radio and bluetooth headset, but they can't work
together, and so I have to go out carrying two headsets, or just not use the
bluetooth at all? This is another issue I was told could not be solved in
software.

So, I'm sorry to keep asking, but I would appreciate another email, like
the one you just issued (which was helpful and appreciated), but addressing
these particular concerns.

thank you.

Chip

Hello chip. many of the issues you mention here are either already marked
down, or we cannot reproduce them. I'll be sending one email later which
answers many of the topics which have been discussed of late. One thing to
remember is that the BookSense is still relatively new and so will have some
bugs and annoyances which HIMS was not able to address right away.

Many thanks.
