one question, how would you put gps in to the booksense? Brandon On Oct 11, 2009, at 7:18 PM, Louis wrote:
HI folks. Since Window-Eyes has Script Central a site where users of Window-Eyes can write an share scripts that can add little features a individual might prefer, or fix a bug, or make an program accessible by Window-Eyes and the I-Phone has applications that can enhance it why can't the VookSense have something similar. A site can be created by GW Micro and users of the BookSense can contribute the applications they wrote for this marvelous device. These applications can do simple things like when the clock button is pressed once it only announces the time, and when pressed twice it announces the date, and the seconds of the time can be disabled so when the clock button is pressed it only announces the hour and minute. A application can also be complex for example allowing the BookSense to have GPS capabilities. Just think of the many things that are possible if users can write apps for the BookSense. I think that many of the bugs and stability issues can be solved faster if this happense because GW won't be working alone but with users of the BookSense that want to make it one of the best devices on the market. I hope that GW Micro and BookSense users seriously think about my suggestion and I hope you weigh in with your thoughts. Thanks for reading this email. Louis
