[GW-Booksense] AC adapter

HI folks. What is the swithch on the AC adapter for and in what
position does it have to be in? With the plug facing away from me and
the braille labal touching the surface of the table do I pull the
switch toards me or push it toards the plug? I hope I'm making sense.
