Well said, and on top of all this, some people were complaining earlier
this week that the sleep timer needed to be enhanced. The complaining
was done when I announced teaser number 2 of holding the 6 key for 2
seconds to toggle Bluetooth on and off. Well.....The sleep timer is
enhanced and in the test firmware we are using, it works really well.
While I see both sides of why people want an alert to tell you when the
time is almost up, I'm not sure what will end up happening. Just because
the Victor Reader Stream has a feature, it does not automatically mean
the BookSense should have it as well.
Many thanks.

There's always the option of doing what I've done for several years,
which is to listen to the book at a low volume, but loud enough for
you to hear it. Then, right before you feel yourself fall asleep,
either turn off the Booksense or remove the earbuds/headphones and let
it power itself off with the usual 5 minutes increment, roll over and
go to sleep. Why does that 11/3 rule that Raul mentioned earlier
suddenly come to mind regarding the sleep timer in particular and new
features in general, grin. Except in this case, 11 people talk about
how to modify or change the feature mentioned, and only 3 say it's a
good feature.

I'm sorry. I didn't take into account those who have no sense of
humor on this list. What I really meant to say (and I guess I should
have limited it to only that for the humor-impaired) was that I
agreed with the person who wrote that if you really need a tone to
alert you ahead of time that the sleep timer was about to go off, you
could set an alarm. Sorry. I won't make this mistake
again. Wouldn't want to ruin anyone else's day with an attempt at levity.
