Hi. Were you reading a nls book, bookshare book, another daisy book, document, if so, what type? Had you pressed any buttons in the 5 minutes before it turned off? if so, which ones?

Without some details we can't try to reproduce problems. Although I can say that early in the beta test process we discovered a way to make the BookSense think it was paused even though it was playing a book. Because it thought it was paused, it turned off after 5 minutes since the power saving time was set to 5 minutes. So if you can give me some more details, I can see if this is the problem we fixed.

I don't recall this happening before, but I was reading along yesterday
when the booksense just decided to turn itself off just like I'd pushed
the power button, only I hadn't as it was laying on the counter. I
suspected the battery, but turned it back on and it said battery was at 6.
