If the signal is not good enough to receive a stereo signal, then it will only be mono. Once the signal is strong enough to receive a stereo, then the BookSense will switch automatically.

Gallegos; Book Sense Discussion List Subject: [GW-Booksense] RE2: record test results and mono FM reception with 2.0 Ok, so I just made 3 voice recordings using internal mike where each recording had the pause /resume record button hit 2-3 times and it all is well. Ditto with 2 recordings I also just made of couple of radio stations. So far so good with 2.0 and I'll post you if the problem as with 1.1 recur. Why is the FM reception in mono while the station is broadcasting stereo FM? During the recording experiment I hit the zero key while in the radio mode listening to an FM station and it said 'mono' along with the frequency info. How can I set it to stereo reception? So if you follow your own steps while using firmware 2.0, is it fixed? have you tried this? In addition, you can always save your settings and restore them if necessary in case of a lock up. many thanks. On 12/22/2009 2:29 PM, Dujari, Prateek wrote: > Hello.
