Get yourself some real ear buds from Sony. You can find them at most electronic stores, even Radio Shack. I paid about fifty dollars last year. They have little rubberized round things on the end about the size of peas. They even come with somewhat smaller size rubber doohickies for people with even smaller ear openings. The BookSense sounds really good through these--especially with Music. I've tried my $500 (at least that's what they were ten years ago) headphones with the Booksense, and they don't sound good for music at all. However, these less expensive ones really are good for this.

I don't know if my ears are too small or just what. But the ear buds that came with the Book Sense are too big for my ears.
