I use an external microphone that I've had for a long time. The Booksense records great with it. I have had it freeze up and then I would do the reset. The Booksense works fine after that. I can record choir practice and Bible studies that I'm involved in just by using an external microphone.

I recently got a Booksense XT and was thinking about using it to make these recordings. Unfortunately, I've noticed on this list that some people have been having problems doing this - lockups, distorted recordings, etc. I was wondering what people's experiences have been with this feature. Are the lockups and such isolated cases or is this a common problem? Also, do you seem to get good results using the internal microphone or is it better to use an external microphone? Any particular brand of external mic? Thanks in advance.
