I don't agree that bluetooth and radio are the only reasons to buy a booksense. I have the cheaper one without radio and I really like it. I also own a stream and there are good and bad about both. The booksense has a much better text to speech voice in my opinion. It is smaller, no big deal to me. I like its folder structure and the way it handles it. Easy to have a tree structure with a folder withing folder within a folder and so forth. As I said, I own and use both daily.

Hello,
With all the problems that the Bookscence has had if you don't want Bluetooth or the radio then buy something other than a Bookscence. These were the big selling points of the Bookscence when it cam out over the other players on the market. However, if you do buy a Bookscence it takes up to a 32GB SD card.

Hi All! I'm toying with the idea of buying a regular booksense as
opposed to XT. I don't want to pay extra for the radio which I don't
listen to very much as it is, and for bluetooth which I don't like. So
I'm wondering if I buy booksense standard, could I still play
bookshare, RFBD and NLS files? Also what size of SD card does
Booksense standard take?
Thanks!
Merisa
