Mine is sporadic. At this very moment it's working like it should, but sometimes it's slower than molasses in January and its voice has sometimes broken up, sort of saying pieces of words very rapidly. But I'd agree it seems to be unstable. I really don't want to change to Dectalk 32 but I may try it. Gail
