Which version of Windows are you running?

hello gw micro,
i want to get back to my version 6 of wineyes.
because i had much trouble with the beta version 7.
i have uninstalled my window eyes version by using the immergancy uninstall
function from my cd.
i restarted my pc, put in the cd and got the message 'welcome at window eyes 6
etc"
i press enter to load window eyes with speech.
after a while i had the message saying that before installation i had to
restart my pc.
i restarted, and left the cd into the machine.
the system restarted but nothing else happened, exept i heared the cd spinning.
i have waited for about 5 minutes and on the screen was a message saying window
eyes setup.
nothing else happened and there was no way to continue the proces of installing.
the result is that i don't have any window eyes any more.
so some help needed please
