This is not possible because of the way we hook into the operating system. The only way you could do this is if you have a dual boot system, a VM setup, or a totally separate machine to test on. Remember, the public beta is for the public at large to test if they feel like testing. If I have a production machine which I depend on for my daily activities, whether they are personal or business, I may not want to risk putting beta software on it. If however, I do so, knowing there might be problems and knowing that if there are problems, I should not be upset, mad, angry, disgusted, or otherwise feeling like I've been shafted. This holds true for any beta software, I'm not just speaking of Window-Eyes here. I can say that we do much internal testing before we put a version for the public to play with. Believe me, you don't want to see some of the alpha builds we've used <smile>. It would tarnish our reputation. Well, I've already given out a GW secret so I'll shut up now.

I would like to suggest to GW if in the future they can make the beta co-exist with the last released version. The user will start the last released version or the beta if he wants to experiment.
