thanks. the firefox history was unchecked. but i didn't think the browseing
histry had anything to do with visited links. firefox was reporting visited
links on other web pages even with the history unchecked. go figure.

Hi. Do you have FireFox set up to keep links in its history? If that is
disabled then visited links won't be indicated. If you have this set
correctly, what about the verbosity of FireFox. Normally verbosity is
global, but if you have set it to local, did you perhaps change it so that
visited links are not indicated?

to the list of items i searched for w e 6.1 and 7 b will not report any
visited links with the control v keys. but this only happens with firefox
3.0 not i e 7.
