Actually what I say is not an opinion, but our way of trying to help
customers to be current with Window-Eyes. If you are at version 4.5 of
Window-Eyes it would cost you $475 to get to version 7.0 when it comes
out. This would qualify you for the payment plan. If you have an
extremely old version of Window-Eyes and you don't want to purchase the
upgrades because they cost too much, you could buy a second copy brand
new and again, take part in the payment plan. Furthermore, if any of our
customers have an SMA for upgrades, the SMAs don't time out. So even if
you save $10 per month during a whole year, you are at $120 which is
more than the average of one upgrade of Window-Eyes when using an SMA count.

Yes but you are not thinking about is say I had 4.5 and then I did not
upgrade until 6.0 you will charge me more. Les me see now I have at
least 900 just in upgrades. That does not even include buying it for
the first time. But you have your opion and I have mine.

Hi. Actually if you break down the SMA $300 package into the 3
upgrades, they average out to $100 each. So it's not too bad when you
think of it this way. We also have a monthly payment plan and we are
the only ones in the AT market to do this. The payment plan is good
for new copies of Window-Eyes as well as for people who wish to
upgrade an old copy of Window-Eyes and their cost would be more than
$400.
So we do in fact realize that not everyone can afford everything and
we do what we can to help that.
Many thanks.

HI I agree let's get back to other things. Also in my opion the cost
is high enough already. I feel that when doing the upgrades that the
cost should be lowered. I mean when I get an up grade for curs while
they only charge me $95 even if I am only a couple of upgrades
behind. I feel that is what should happen for the speech programs. I
have so much money invested in to this more then it should be. So GW
Micro if you want to compete with someone else why don't you start
lowering your prices on the upgrades and not just to the new users
such as people who have jaws. Come on please give us a brake. We are
not made of money and how do you expect the average on a fix income
to purchase the up grades when you charge $300.00 for 3 up grades.
Just think yhou could sell more if you lowered the price. Put
yourself in our shoes and just imagine if you only got say $600 a
month where would you be? If you reply to this message it will be
