Hi,

Do you have anyone sighted that can tell you if you have the "program isn't
responding" dialogue? I get explorer isn't responding sometimes and by
hitting E, it goes away. Might try hitting e a couple of times after the
machine seems to go quiet.

Regards.. Joe Lanier

John

Just tried to close down windoweyes in the task manager processes list.
After shutting down I tried to shut down the machine without speech and it
still won't go. Damn stubborn thing!

All the same, check your processes before shutting down.
press control alt and delete, it's the key between insert and enter on the
numeric keypad.
Then go to tabcontrol where you can find the processes column by applying
left or right arrow keys check your processes and try ending the window eyes
process before shutting down
