You have my sympathy. It does happen to me as well.
Try some of the other processes.
By the way, One good way of understanding what each process does is
to type its name in full, including the .exe extension in google.
That usually returns a page or two with description of the process

Just tried to close down windoweyes in the task manager processes list.
After shutting down I tried to shut down the machine without speech and it

All the same, check your processes before shutting down.
press control alt and delete, it's the key between insert and enter
on the numeric keypad.
Then go to tabcontrol where you can find the processes column by
applying left or right arrow keys
check your processes and try ending the window eyes process before
shutting down
