Try this on a network that is running very slowly.
Here at work, we have a wireless network and when a lot of large files
are being downloaded by other network users, the system crawls.
Sometimes, after log-on, I wind up in the we control pannel. When I
press escape, sometimes we61 is just in the systray like it should be,
and other times, it is in both places.
Usually, closing we and restarting we again will fix the problem.

Just as an fyi, you can also press CTRL+Shift+ESC to bring up the task
manager as well. I too cannot duplicate this and I only see one
occurrence of WE.

 Don

Hi,

If you do the 3 finger solute(ctrl-alt-del) and bring up the task
manager, how many instances of we do you find?

Regards.. Joe Lanier

I would agree with your deductions, if window-eyes only appeared
intermittantly in both areas at the same time. This however is not the
case. I can alt tab and find window-eyes this way whilst simultaniously
locating it in the system tray.

Weird!

Michael

I have also had this with the beta and 6.1.
Usually for me when this happens, something is going on which, I think,
causes Window-eye's attempt to just load in the systray to time out.
Sometimes, at work, this is a very slow network at log-on time.
At home, I think it has happened due to activity of the virus checker
and/or updates installing.
My reasons here are just my guesses, of course.

Using beta 1, I just rebooted. WE is in my systray and my task bar.
Can this be fixed? I want it in the systray only. If I close WE and
restart it, it appears in the systray only and not the task bar.
