Hi,

Another route is to use k1000 and it will do ocr on it. Has worked well in
the past. If yu don't have k1000 and have a relatively small amount of
files, I would be happy to convert them into text for you.

The converting message is what you should get. It means that the Adobe
software is extracting the text which is then loaded into the msaa buffer.
The problem starts when the Adobe document contains only graphics.
That's when you're likely to get a blank page in the MSAA buffer.
With Window-Eyes 7 you get two new features which help with reading Adobe
documents. The first is the progress indicator which keeps you informed
whether or not you have the progress indicated by the number of pages
processed.
The second is support for unicode characters. If your Adobe document
contains any unicode symbols in v7 you get the proper symbol name read out
instead of the old question mark.

You can send me a sample document from the publishers and I'll give it a
good scan and send you my feedback.
