If you are running Window-Eyes 7 Beta, you should get the bcscan script from
Script Central: www.gwmicro.com/sc
Then, get most any Bar Code Scanner that works via a USB port.  Metrologic
make several that are less than $300.00.  Their phone number is:
800-436-3876.
Another company that carries theirs and other scanners is Scan Technology.
I don't have their phone number, but their web site is www.scantec.com and
their email is: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
You probably want one that is omni-directional so you don't have to have it
right on the bar code exactly.

Or, if you want one that is portable and made for the Visually Impaired,
Envision America makes the ID Mate II for $1,300.00.
