Press control o in finereader. Find your pdf. It will add pages to the batch. DO a bypass with insert b and then control shift r. The pages will then OCR. ----- Original Message ----- From: "joe lanier" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Bill Scherer'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "'Window-Eyes discussion list'" <[email protected]>

Hi,

Does that software have a file menu with an open option? If so, you might
try just opening the file and see if it does like K1000 and do the ocr
automagically.

Regards.. Joe Lanier

Since I do have Abby Fine reader on my computer I'm wondering if I can use
it to get the text out of a PDF?
If I open the PDF with Adobe Reader it says empty document, but my
sightlings says their is an image with text. Is their a way that I can get
the text out using Abby? I took a look, but couldn't see a way.
Bill
